Winter riding in Limerick??

Just curious...as the temps are dropping and not looking to drop 800 bucks on ice tires...is there a specific time of year when Limerick is OFF limits or...as long as the conditions are good...its good to GO? Thanks in advance

Thanks. That was my next question re hunting...so looks like it's more of the pit riding with some locals for the time being....man.....winter.....pheonix riding sounds good about now

I don't see why not but $800 why not try GRIPSTUDS you can use your tires that are on your bike (if in good shape) and when your done remove the studs ready for the next tire or season http://www.gripstuds.com/ I have been using these with great success

Interesting...I have committed to installing the Kold Kutters in the knobbies of my well worn tires for a few sessions of ice riding but will definitely look into the Grip studs a bit more...you ride in winter? Where do you ride?

you will find the cold kutter screws are ok but will loosen and even come out on a single ride unles you are using a liner so you can use the longer screws the gripstuds don't come out unless you are actually removing them
