Tip: KTM '23-24 TBI Spark Plug Change

You can't change plug with tank in place, but you don't have to fully remove the tank. In particular, you don't have to disconnect the fuel line or fuel pump wiring.

1. remove seat
2. remove tank bolt
3. remove 4 front-facing rad shroud bolts
4. unhook rad shrouds from radiator
5. unhook rad shrouds from frame rail behind tank
6. lift tank off post and tip back
7. put something between tank and frame (block of wood in photo) to keep it in this position
8. change plug

I fully removed tank a couple of times before learning this. The 250 XC got better with each mapping update from KTM and new spark plug recommendation (7, instead of 8, for trail riding) but it was a plug fouler when I first got it...
