This thread will be used to help cleaning crews focus on trails that need work and keep track of what is cleared for riding.

-Establishing new paths around fallen trees is not an authorized practice by MNRF, doing this on a wide scale could harm our relationship with MNRF and our access to the trails, we also lose flow and exacerbate erosion
-Cut 18" to 24" on both side of the trails when possible
-When reporting a trail as cleared, please ride / clear the entire length of the trail

Please reply with the work you completed so I can update the list
Prioritize single track trails!

Mountain Chute area, South Lavant and M&M will be posted later

4x4 / ATV updates; https://www.eotb.ca/trail-status/

We cleared Garnsey with hand saws on Monday but left many cut arounds. Mark Fe went back the other day and did more cleanup. I can't speak to the existence of cut arounds remaining or not, but it has been cleared twice which probably makes it better than most if not clear.

Also, I know Tom Irwin and crew were out on the South side on Monday. I can't speak to what they did, but the did a bunch of double track.

Ok thanks for the report, I'll leave it as work needed until someone with a chainsaw has gone through

Thanks for this Steph!

I want to get out Saturday. There are a few logistics to handle before I can say for sure.

I would want to tackle:

- Screw N
- Screw S
- Fanny Hill
- Mair Lake
- Quinn's front door
- Quinn's (back door)
- River Run

I expect this is more than a single chainsaw crew can handle! But this is the route I want to use on the Ride For Dad. If we cannot clear it Saturday we will postpone the RFD.

Just a head up we rode BFH a couple weeks ago and it has been demolished by logging operations. The entire north face is gone.

Caroline and I are happy to help clearing trails on Saturday. We are not familiar with Calabogie, but are happy to join anyone who wants a hand.

***CANCELLED*** This cleanup is cancelled for this week. North Side Cleanup Advanced trails Saturday 9am to 2 pm meet at the Pit ready to ride for 9am: Lead Clint Lefabvre. We are looking for some advanced/high intermediate riders to help Clint out tomorrow on the North side to clear transec, wonderland and oriole. If you can help him out please reply and meet at the North side pit ready to ride by 9am. If you happen to have a chainsaw mount and a chainsaw it would be helpful. Clint will be bringing one mount and saw already. Thanks, Drew

Hey, I would be more than happy to help you and whoever else is joining. I don't have a chainsaw but I can offer some serious muscle :) I do have hand saws though, which can also be helpful. Please let me know if you want me to join you.

I can help a crew out Saturday on the North or South side. I assume the meeting spots are the pit or the golfcourse around 9. I’ll check back here or can be reached by text @613-291-6764

Hi all, as Ross said I went thru Garnsey with a chainsaw on Tuesday and it’s good to go. Yesterday I did north side pit to Wabun lake via Pitbull, Lost Saint and Autobahn and it is clear, thanks to Ryan L for letting me track him down to take a back up saw when the handle on the echo top mount broke on me.

We cleared Trickie Dickie and a segment of Skidder today. Regarding Skidder, we cleared the section from 'Up the Creek' to 'Long Grass'... I'm not sure if that is considered Skidder 1, 2, or 3 (I assume Skidder 1).
