BMA has a fairly strong membership and seems to organise a number of club rides intended to be appropriate to the normal range of rider experience and comfort.
So, what offroad riding do members do in between the scheduled ride events? Do the majority of active offroaders head out to public ride areas along with the 4-wheeler folks? Is that mostly an agreeable experience?
The riding season always seems much longer than it ends up being if you add up the actual trail time, this is true for me, is it much the same for you?
If some of the above are relevant, what stands out as being the predominant riding-related obstacle to getting out on the trails?
What's a reasonable drive-to limit getting out to a designated trail? Is a motorbikes-only trail on a higher scale?
I really appreciate any discussion on these questions possible.
