Parking at North Side pit?

Are we still able to park at the north side pit?
I read that the loggers may be using that as a staging area for their heavy equipment.

If we can't, where can we park and how do we get to the existing trails that leave the pit?

You can park just a little farther down the 508 (west). It's not as big of an area, but you can still fit a half dozen cars and trailers there and park more vehicles to the south down Limestone lake road if required.

If you take the double track to the north east (the old paved road), you'll quickly and easily get to the pit.

I don't know how much they'll be using the pit, but it's best to park elsewhere so the loggers can work unobstructed. Probably safe to park there on the weekends, but you never know.

was there today and there was a bunch of car still using it ,,, there is log there and a loader but it is the weekend so they dont work ... during the week would be another stori as they are working
