Our self-scored trial will proceed as planned for April 27. Start time 11.30, come early and practice -- there's lots of room! Sections will be fairly long, mostly familiar from previous years. There is no deep water although some sections will likely become muddy. The route is fairly compact - no long walks between sections for spectators.

All trials bikes welcome; suitable also for lightweight enduro machines.

Contact me off -list for a map; the location is near Watson's Corners.

Here's the results for the trial, showing just the top finishers:

Dave Southam 8 4RT (Expert Mono)
Andre Burke 7 1977 Yamaha TY250 (Expert)
Bob Phillips 21 Montesa (Mono) and TL 125
Mike Vinten 22 1973 Montesa Cota
Dave Wrack 24 1976 Yamaha TY175
David Makin 28 1973 Bultaco Sherpa
Nev Miller 41 1973 Bultaco Sherpa
Ian Taylor 45 1974 Yamaha TY250 (Expert)
Stan Nicholson 75 1978 Bultaco Sherpa
Rob McKellar dnf 1984 SWM 240

The results of course don't take into account who was riding which of the A (expert) B (less expert) and C (novice) lines. Andre Burke was the clear winner of the Expert Vintage class riding A lines; Dave Wrack gave up his usual monoshock to win the B class on his TY175 Yamaha; and Mike Vinten, better known for his skill in the VRRA, did really well on the C lines losing only 22 points on his lovely Montesa.

Our fall event is scheduled for September 28.
