New to racing

My self and my 13 year old son would like to start racing some enduros this summer. Can anyone recommend some races that are good for starting and that are not to far from the Ottawa area? Thanks Jason

Check out http://www.offroadontario.ca. Offroad Ontario runs both the Enduro and XC series in Ontario. The Mini pine is 2 weeks away and likely the best race to start at. It's about 3.5 hours from Ottawa and the closest enduro race. There isn't room to camp there, but many people camp at Sandaraska which is only about 10 min from the start. Are you looking to do both enduro and XC? The enduros tend to be at the beginning and end of the season with the XCs in the middle. Shoot me a message if you want more details.

There's also FMSQ. They have several races. Two in this area. Enduros and endurocross. Very family oriented.
Check them out. Gives other options.
