Just got a note from Limerick Forest Manager Geoff McVey that Limerick is now closed to motorized usage until further notice.
Don't panic; this is just the normal seasonal closure to let the frost come out and dry the Forest up a bit. The signs are up so PLEASE RESPECT THIS CLOSURE! It is imperative that we show stewardship of the Forest and assist in management practices. And please remember that Limerick Forest is owned by The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville and therefore is private property that we are granted access to. So, if any motorized vehicles are caught in there during the closure a trespassing charge is inevitable! Keep an eye on this thread for updates.
