For a 4th consecutive year, the United Counties of Prescott and Russell is inviting the population to attend its all-day community celebration day on Saturday, October 1, 2011. Numerous activities are scheduled, such as, history of the forest by the author John Bacher, a visit of a forestry operation, history of the Grant Village, mushroom identification, earth craft and face painting for the children. It will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Henri Latreille Shelter on Indian Creek Road in the Larose Forest. A beautiful family day!
