INVITATION TO ATTEND THE
PRESENTATION OF THE LAROSE
FOREST PROTECTION AND
DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND THE 20
YEAR MANAGEMENT PLAN

Wednesday May 28th, 2008

at the Community Hall of the Village of
Limoges, 205 Limoges Road, Limoges ON

The United Counties of Prescott and Russell
invite you to attend the presentation of the
Protection and Development Plan of the Larose
Forest (PDP). In 2006, the United Counties
mandated the firm of Horizon Multiressources
Inc. to jointly elaborate with the members of the
Larose Forest Committee and users of the
forest, a portrait and analysis of the natural,
social and economic environment of the Larose
Forest. The main objectives of this portrait are
to enable decision-making pertaining to the
protection and development of the Larose
Forest. The Plan is now completed and the
public is being invited to attend the final public
presentation.

Did anyone make it to this meeting? Any update on if it is legal to ride in Larose?

There were three of us that attended (the usual suspects) and it went really well. We were not mentioned in any way by the public. There were comments made again about some people riding around trees and uprooting them (?) and Mr. Prévost mentioned that he was very impressed that they were at a point now that he thought would only be achieved in 5 years. He said "clubs work".

At the end, someone came up to Mr. Prévost and asked him if dirt bikes would be allowed, he introduced us and said that he would have to speak to me about becoming a BMA member and that we were getting our own trails. I gave him some info and my email address.
