Fuel screw suggestion?

About to embark on rejetting my 250x with the JD kit, open the air box etc...but before doing so, I forgot about my fuel screw.

I read that these work well to "feel" when the needle is "seated", but they can easily fall out?

It seems folks prefer something like this, but its more "difficult" to feel when the needle is seated properly.

Is that true?
Any recommendation for a "new mechanic" playing with needles on his carb for the first time?

I use to have the Tusk fuel screw, your first link. Worked well, never fell out on me.

Never used the flex style fuel screws.

be careful of which one you purchase as some that have an anodized finish tend to be a fraction too big and will not work well I know from experience!!! now as it is a keihien fcr carb you can use any type of mixture screw and I know the ktm on we have at wheelsport will fit and works very well
