Corbin Seat - dished or not?

I ride a KLR650 and am looking into a Corbin seat. They offer one that is dished and one in a regular form. The dished seat seems to be shaped for the backside, but what is/are the real advantage to a dished seat. The regular seat appears to have a thicker layer of foam..?

don`t know about the dished seat but i have the flat one and love it,easy to put in a 12hr 800km day on the old klr .i got mine though woody and got a smokin deal.

buy an airhawk seat pad. Its 1/3 the price , more comfortable and doesn't add 50 lbs to your bike.
