2013 300 xcw maps ?

Quick question I have a 2013 Ktm 300 xcw does it have adjustable ignition maps ? I’ve read newer models have plugs or a map switch was wondering if mine had these and where would they be ?

There are several threads on many different forums to help you out. A simple google search will get you going. My 300 is a little older than yours and I have no use for mapping. I am interested to know if you want to tame your 300 for various riding conditions ie., wet, rock, roots.... I will pm you with more info.

There's a jumper wire near the engine head, basically 2 maps, connected (fast) and not connected (only slightly less fast)...it mostly tames the upper revs and how snappy it is (ignition retardation). Power valve spring selection has way more effect. The late model 4 strokes have more robust maps

Great thanks for the help I’ll have a look for the connector. I’m new to a 2 stroke and want to learn the ins and out of the bike.

Try different power valve springs! There is no guarantee that you will notice the difference with the mapping!
