Dirt Bike Training

We are meeting up June 2 and 4 from 17:00 to train at Larose forest.
This type of riding is pretty much the same as what you would get in an Off-Road Ontario XC event.
We set a loop and we do it all in the same direction for about 2.5 hours.
This is open to all level of riding. You just need to move out of the way when a faster rider comes behind you.
Not good for kids with small bikes.

This gives you a very good idea of what an XC race is like.

If your bike breaks, the loop is close to the road and it's easy to pull your bike out of the wood alone.
Remember to always stop when you see another rider on the ground and make sure is ok before you go on.

The new loops in Larose are shaping up nicely. They aren't fast loops, they are slower and physically demanding to constantly ride.

I was there with Pat last night, it was fun right up until I washed the front wheel and took out a rad. I'm not sure that I agree that it's easy to push your bike out....it sure felt tough last night :)
