The Great 2024 Calabogie Cleanup

May encounter a few obstacles out there from our last storm. Did a loop yesterday and there’s a large tree down on Up the Creek and two smaller down in 2nd section of Tall Pines needing chainsaw.
BLT, Log Ridge, BS2, S&M, DD, all Skidders, all FFS, & Tricky are still good.

Opened up our trac to avoid the deep water hole exiting south end of Quinn’s

Out with a crew yesterday. Cleared Mair Lake, SS Minnow and Red Horse from SS Minnow to 77. Thanks to those who joined. McNeil, Schaubel, Riddle, Lefebvre

Blazing Saddles and Faron's North cleared by Tom I think!

New tree down on Odette's

Face slappers on old part of Quinn's really bad

Redhorse Lake trail is impassable. It looks like a dam burst and multiples trees are blocking the creek crossing just down from the GOAT trail.

Myself and Ryan had to turn back and go to SS Minnow to get off of Redhorse Lake trail. It might take a 4 man chainsaw crew a couple of hours to clear the mess.

Redhorse is now clear. A crew went out on Friday and took care of the mess. We even haveva new line avoiding most of the creek!
