Hello everyone,
I am in the process of planning a group adventure bike ride from upstate NY to Ontario. I have a few questions that I hope someone on this forum could answer. A group of four of us on small (300cc and less) dual sports with camping gear would like to ride to Calabogie, camp, and ride what looks like a multitude of dirt roads and trails around the area.
The first question is does this make sense?
I have reading on the BMA website, and from my point of view it does. I’m riding a crf300 rally. I am the least experienced of the group. I have put 10,000 miles on the Rally and have a few thousand miles on other bikes, and have been riding on local woods courses fairly regularly for a couple years.
Second question is a little awkward, but I feel like I better ask it. Given the political relations between the US and Canada, would we be viewed in a negative way. I could understand the sentiment if that were the case, and I wouldn’t want to be in a place where I was less than welcome.
Thanks for reading
