Kids racing near or around Ottawa

Hi everyone my son is 9 and looking to try his luck with some local racing not looking to be to competitive he just wants to try it. I am just having a hard time finding something that is within the Ottawa area I know there is some stuff further out but would like to stay close to home if he ends up not being interested his first season. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Is your son looking to try MX, XC Enduro or all 3? Offroad Ontario offers XC races for your sons age, but not many are close to Ottawa. They also have a new youth enduro series this year, but again there would be some travel. you can check them out at https://offroadontario.ca/blog/.

Chloe's kingdom would be the closest offroad race race. Its in Cloyne which is just south of Bon Echo park. It is a two day race with camping and swimming so it makes the drive a little more worth it. At 9 your son would be racing Mini A so its a one hour race that starts the day off.
