hanging idle 300 xc w

Jetting issues?
Thought to post and get some feedback.
Running a 165mj, 35 pilot, third clip.
Once the bike warms up and after a WOT run I come to a stop and she wants to keep going. I mean it sounds like an air leak but I have sprayed carb cleaner on the boot and no change in idle.
My throttle cable is stock and running a 2" bar riser but this did not happen last year with the same set up.
Possible reed wear? Have yet to check.
Power valve was cleaned while doing the top end this winter.
FMF Gnarley with stock silencer.
No exhaust leak at the head pipe.
Carb cleaned with ultrasonic cleaner.

Please do not tell me to go and buy a lectron!

Your experience appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

I don't think worn reeds give that symptom.

Could still be an air leak, at crank seal. I seized my old Husky 125/144 when the ignition side seal went....

If that's not it, you could always try a Lectron :p

Hi Chris,

IMO a hanging idle after hard run would indicate a lean condition on the pilot circuit.
Where is the air screw (AS) set to now? how many turns out is it?

I would try turning it in by 1/4 turn to richen it slightly and see if that helps.

My 2013 300 Xcw had fueling issues and it ended up being float adjustment . Maybe something to check.
