3D printing parts!

I discovered 3D printing over the winter and wanted to share with the community.

Had a buddy print the following;


One fixed the throttle slop on my 690, the other fixed a broken buckle on my leatt knee guards.
Cost $1 in material to make both.
Use cases are a bit limited, but there is an application for gear, buckles, boot straps, mounts etc...
 
3D printing can be very useful. Be mindful of the printing layers as the material strength between layers is reduced. Used to have access to a wax 3D printer, great for making lost investment molds.

Now for the metal 3D printers to come down in price.
