One week ago the road from the gravel pit to the SOT Mousseau Lake Cabin was not passable. I suspect trying to access Deliverance by the North end is still impossible.Has anyone surveyed Deliverance or either side of Snake Head? I’m hoping to get out this week to start the process.
That’s what I figured Steph…that road section is gonna be the challengeOne week ago the road from the gravel pit to the SOT Mousseau Lake Cabin was not passable. I suspect trying to access Deliverance by the North end is still impossible.
The South entrance to Deliverance by way of SOT is now clear, go by the 2 track after the gravel pit on the left from the road.
Rode S&M and Snake head a week ago. We only had hand saws, were able to get around all the big trees. ~18 good trees that need to be cleared on those 2 trails.Has anyone surveyed Deliverance or either side of Snake Head? I’m hoping to get out this week to start the process.
Mcgone / Sone of a Gun cleared from Bompas to Snake Head or all the way to the 2 track / dirt road (Little Depot) ?Son of a gun is 99% clear
Up a creek was listed as clear but we did more.
Snakehead we did some work on. Unfortunately a small section of it is beyond fixing. Still some huge sketchy logs. 11am to 5:30pm and we only put a dent in it.
I guess the active logging is finished on that section as well, have not seen any activity. The hunter might do some clearing, but probably not to fall. So, it's up to usThat’s what I figured Steph…that road section is gonna be the challenge
Mcgone isn’t done, neither is the double track. Running on fumes after snakeheadMcgone / Sone of a Gun cleared from Bompas to Snake Head or all the way to the 2 track / dirt road (Little Depot) ?

Ryan &Ross you’re spot on … unfortunately and we’ll be dealing with this for a bit. Possibly another wind event tomorrow that may rattle things loose.I have a feeling that we are going to be dealing with a tone of new dead fall all summer. there is a lot of trees just hanging there waiting for a good wind to come by.
Right on, glad to hear you made it to the North entrance. I've done Deliverance with the saw before, I'll add it to the visit listRyan &Ross you’re spot on … unfortunately and we’ll be dealing with this for a bit. Possibly another wind event tomorrow that may rattle things loose.
BTW…rode out to the north entrance of Deliverence and walked in (…I was on the 650R) and it’s gonna need some attention
